Cody Simpson - So Listen

Cody's Just released Single is dropping panties all over Australia and elsewhere. His song its more groove worthy than Usher Climax, but that's another story. "I've been trying to find the right words" Cody sings like an angel and i too have been trying to find the right words to tell Bieber Stans that CODY SIMPSON is just as good if not better than Bieber. Don't me wrong i do love Justin's music but his fans tend to get a bit crazy at times with their tone deaf ears to anything not Justin. Anyways back to Cody who enlsited T-Pain to join him on his best song yet "Let the church say Amen" says T-pain which I think is his best lyric of his feature in this song. So listen is the perfect song to sing to you significant other who just wont listen. "I need some louder speaking actions" you can quote from Cody's powerful musical sermon. This gives me high hope for Cody's album due this summer. I will definitely be listening Cody.

Power of Music

Ever you walk into a room and hear party music playing and you instantly get into a good mood? Have you ever listened to "sad" music and then start thinking about all the sad times you had? Well that's all because of the power of music. It can make you happy, sad, or even crazy wild. Music can take you over and fill you with emotions you never knew existed. Personally i try to play upbeat music when I'm feeling down instead of the listening to sad, depressing music while I'm sad. I can jump from sad to lets go crazy over one song. We as youth need to choose our music carefully because it can influence us to do crazy or very bad things. If you listen to "Shoot them bitches err day" then you have a high chance of actually shooting someone and going to jail. Why not listen to "I love myself" or "I will be successful" i mean we all love those "bad" songs that just get us going but can we please just take a moment and check what we are listening to. You become what you hear. So why not become the riches man/woman in America? Take control on your life. Be You.

I know Nicki Minaj changed up her rap to more dance like the tread is these days but still its FLIPPING GUMBOBALLS GOOD. I'm in love with this song, the bass, the beat, the fake rapping, its just too much to handle. Phew its just that good, this song is currently at #6 on iTunes which is good news for Nicki. This song has also made Nicki Minaj the highest-charting female rapper in U.K. history. Keep the songs coming gurrrrl I'm loving it.

One Direction Infatuation!

One Direction infatuation has reached America at full speed. America is usually late to the amazing music party but its okay. The excitement over One Direction is about as big as when Justin Bieber started, currently their album Up All Night just released in the U.S is at number 1 and 2 spot on iTunes. Personally i like One direction and i hope they continue to have amazing success and then World Domination lol just kidding. These boys have been busy, on iCarly and landed a spot on Saturday night live which is huge. For the next few months you wont be able to escape the name One Direction. Are boy bands making a comeback? I'm not sure but One direction is making a bold statement. I bought the album and i like it a lot, then again I'm a Pop music junkie but I'm sure all those out there who love Justin Bieber will definitely love One direction. My favorite song of theirs and also their debut single What Makes You Beautiful is amazing, go check it out. Don't forget to buy the album Up All Night. One direction is official the new sensation and will be making headlines very soon. Are you ready?

Fairytale

Love is more than a fairytale its a gift from above. Waiting for it is the hardest part, especially when your young. Watching others around you especially your friends having fun in their relationship can be hard. Seeing them all happy and lovey dovey just makes you want someday of your own. Don't rush to find someone, they will come to you. Even I have to learn how to wait, and I'm telling you it feels like torture. Rushing into a relationship only leaves a trial of broken hearts and tears, so take the slow patient road and wait for that someone to come to you. Remember just have hope, you will have your moment just be you. Make your life a fairytale, hope will grant your wishes.

Substance Of Life is..

The substance of life is hope. Hope keeps you going, it keeps you focused and living. For some hope was the last option right before suicide. Hope helped 2 people trapped in rumble in Haiti at the time of the earthquake. They had hope they would be found and continue life on. They fed, live, and thrived on hope which is what kept them alive. Telling someone "there's still hope" can touch someone deeply. That same person that's always positive and bubbly at school, could be the same one going through a tough time. Cutting, and self-abuse can be an issue for anyone, even for the on who seems to have their life together. The definition of hope is the feeling that what is wanted can be had or that events will turn out for the best. Just having a feeling that you get out the ghetto, or that abusive relationship, or out of a bad situation is the only step of faith you need to have hope. Once you have hope your closer to becoming the you you've want to be already.

The 4 M Masks

Teens hide using different masks the main ones are the Mean, Meaningless, Multi, Manipulative masks.

The Mean Mask -
This is mask is mainly used to hide true emotions, deep hurt, and insecurities. Being confronted by someone isn't easy, especially for out fragile egos. If someone like you but others disapprove of you being involved with them, the mean mask comes into play. Instead of gently saying "I'm sorry we cant be together" the mean mask takes over and your words become vile and evil. "Faggot", "ugly", "Asshole", "bitch", "Cunt", and "Whore" are just some of the few word this mask likes to use. Instead of releasing true feeling some teens find it much easier to use this mask and humiliate others to mask their own feelings. The positives of this mask it that you might get other to follow you and have a feeling of dominance. The negatives of this mask is that it lead to you having few friends and cause other to strongly dislike you.

The Meaningless Mask -
This mask it also used to hide true emotions, cope with life, and a possible result of low self esteem. The whole careless attitude is what this mask embodies. When life gets ruff sometime our way of deal with it is to pretend not to care. It help to life some of the weight off our shoulders. If your in a deep relationship but your scared to put your self out there, this mask is perfect. the person who cares the least controls the relationship. If you feel like you failing at life and are good for nothing then acting like you don't care and everything is meaningless helps you once again to cope with life. If you decided to take responsibility for your actions it would be too much so be go into the meaningless mask to hide these feelings. The positives of this mask is that other will find you chill and cool because nothing bothers you. The negatives of this mask is that you can lose people closest to know because you don't show how you feel.

The Multi Mask -
This mask is used to fit in to any "social' group and fulfill inner desires. Using the "Multi" mask makes you that person that changes into 5 different people within 5 minutes. The mask helps you to take on any and every role all at once. The positives to this i that you can join any social group, you can be the stereotypical jock, nerd or cool kid all in one day. The negatives of this mask is that you can become known as fake or a bitch because you change really fast. You could go from "shes so stupid", "why is he with her" to "Shes so pretty", to "i really need to study" in just one conversation. This mask helps to let out inner desires that you want to fulfill but please others around you at the same time. This mask is the most dangerous of all because it has the highest possible tendency to lead to depression. Having conflict between all the different people you want to be, can also drive a person mad. Be careful when using this mask.

The Manipulative mask -
This mask is used to have a sense of "control" and to fulfill desires. If you have ever been taken advantage of then this mask is perfect for you. Using other people to get what you want becomes very amusing once you put this mask on. If feelings get hurt, lives get ruined, relationships destroyed you could careless as long as you get what you want. Letting out what we want top do, aside from what we should do is a huge battle teens face everyday, this mask just makes it a bit easier. The positives of this mask if you get lots of information on other and you get what you want. The negatives of this mask is ending up alone or possibly not being able to really function in a true relationship.

Each mask has a different part of another but some are more convenient in different situations. We hide behind different masks each day. Which one are you wearing?

LUNATIC

 Emotions can drive us wild. We teens can go from happy, to pissed, to quiet, sad in just a few minutes. Emotions may drive us but they should not control us. We need to learn to control our emotions, it can save you a lot of emotional damage. Say you learn to control your urges, then it can save you from having 7 ex's that hate you. Life is an emotion ride and emotions make it fun. How would the world be if you when to an amusement park and went of the scariest ride and just went "weeee" with no emotion, it wouldn't be as fun. Step one Acknowledge your emotions. Step two Find a person you can tell anything to. Step 3 Talk with this friend and try figure out the logical thing to do. Do NOT think you have your emotions under control already and not talk to anyone. This will lead to consequences, you know how you write an essay and it seems perfect to you. Then your friend reads it and sees so many mistakes, emotions are similar. You need to have more than one perspective before you take action. Remember be you, and live life one day at a time. Enjoy the emotional ride :). Don't let emotions make you a lunatic.

How can silence be the loudest cry? Well have you ever felt depressed or really sad.
I know I have, and when I was I chose silence as my weapon to get the message across, but no one heard me.
Going through life feeling like you wanna die is no way to live.
In those dark time the friends you choose suddenly become a lot more important.
If you have friends who you can't talk to about these feelings then you need some new friends. Life is a game and sometimes you need a little extra help.
When someone you know stops doing the things they love, and stop talking as much then you need to communicate with them and find out what's wrong.
Silence is a powerful weapon and a powerful cry. Will you hear it?

Rihanna ready radio song you da one was the hit that should have been. It was a fresh take on music with a dub-step meets island vibe. The song is super catchy and irresistible. "You da one that I think about all day" "you da one that I think about always" are the perfect Valentine's day lyrics. Who would not want to be that someone "one." This song should have been number 1 or the least a billboard top 10 hit. I think it under performed because of lack of promotion which is sad because I loved the song the second I heard it. Rihanna not having a hit is unheard of. Queen riri needs to step up her game and bring the heat next time. Continue the number 1 streak Rihanna. Sincerely, #Rihannanavy

Live you dreams they say. Well its true find what you love and go for it, Live the life you've always wanted. We teenagers have more power than we think. The media, the celebrities and the networks are all controlled by us. We have the power, we can take down any singer we want by not supporting them. We can also shoot anyone to fame who we decided is cool. Shows and movies are created based on we like, networks look for views. If we don't like something and don't watch it, then it gets taken off the air. We control social media, without us no one would know that Facebook or twitter exist. We need to realize the power our generation has. there is no excuse for failure anymore. if your depressed get help, if your lonely keep looking for that special friend, if your going through a rough time remember it will get better. We need to take control of our live and stop saying " I wish I could be successful." We need to change our attitude to "I will be successful." remember be you, find what you love and go for it. We got the power.

You know those time when people are just bothering you to a point that you start making scenes in you head of what could happen to them. it might be tripping down an escalator, falling down the stairs, tripping over your textbook, being taken away by police or just simply dead. The mind is a powerful thing it can curse and it can bless. There are murders who 1st started killing in their minds, which is why I urge you to today, instead of killing those who you dislike just imaging yourself, rising above them. Imagine them scooping up your dogs poop while you stay in a 5 star hole. imagine them cleaning your bathroom while your on you way out for dinner. See imaginations can turn into reality. Summer Jobs!

Summer jobs can be the best thing ever created for the average teenager. Even though summer shows great opportunities, many just stay home and do nothing .Instead of doing nothing go to summer school and get ahead or get a summer job. I would prefer a summer job. So to get your summer job you have to look for job fairs in your area and attend them to find work. This i s just as easy as it sound, you go to the fair meet employers and BOOM you got a job. Easy for many but hard for few. I know my friend had difficulty getting a job because he looked very young. He was 16 but look like "12" or so he was told. Age discrimination is a real thing, their are many young people who try to get job but some employer feel that an older more "mature" person would be better for the job. this is in fact WRONG ans against the law so if this is happening to you, then you need to look up the human rights section of your constitution. summer is a fun time for everyone or at least is should be. Do something that you are good at, learn a new skill but DO NOT do nothing with your summer. Summer is a gift use it will and never forget Be You.

Why is it when you find a sweetie they have to have a cyattie friend -__-. You look for your sweetie on Facebook and in her pics you see her cyattie friend with the typical cyattie pics. Lips pushed up to the camera or middle finger to the camera or the low chest upper neck pose. Girls these days are going wild, they are either with someone or with someone. The only difference is the official and the unofficial relationships. Everything is a "WORLDSTAR"  or a "beef-ting"moment, youth today are more violent than ever. We can try and blame T.V, music or even movies but i think the real reason is the company you keep. Your friends INFLUENCE you in a major way whether you believe it or not. Keep you friends and you'll be set, don't become a Cyattie be a sweetie an succeed in life. Don't be a stripper become an entrepreneur instead. Don't was you life, have the life you've always wanted. Be You.

Jennifer Hudson New Whitney?

Jennifer Hudson performed a Whitney Huston tribute at the 54th annual Grammy Awards. She sang I Will Always Love You and it was amazing. Jennifer seems to have gone through a major change she went from "Spotlight" to "Where you at". If you don't know what I mean she went from thick to stick in matter of months. I think both the stick and the thick look are very sexy, why change her body? I have no idea. How does this affect other thick girls? Let me explain. At the top of the food chain is Jennifer then you have thick teenage girls. "Wow Jennifer Hudson looks sweet up" says one Girl. "Only because she dropped the weight " says girl 3. "Rude, oh please Jennifer was sexy as #TeamThick so dont talk" says girl 2. "I'm #teamthick but i guess that's not sexy anymore" says girl 2. "You better join #teamstick *giggles* instead" says girls 1 and 3. Now Girls 2 takes every diet pill in the book, but gets no results, now shes depressed because she hates her body. THANKS A LOT JENNIFER you've turned a happy thick girl into a depressed girl. This is the influence u have on teenager, this is the dangers to changing you image to fit the "crowd." I personally love Jennifer's music but if she wants to be the next Whitney she has to come with more than just the voice. Whitney was a great performer and had a great personality. even with the negative press she got she still managed to send a message of love. So please Jennifer next time you decided to change yourself to look like everyone else remember all the other #teamthick girls are watching. They look to you.

I know that many of my friends are or have been depressed. High school/ middle school inst an easy time for people. In the midst of all the pain and hurt just remember your the only you there will ever be. Don't let anyone or anything make you unhappy. Being emotional is apart of being human being, sometime you just have to let it out. Always remember its never too late to have hope. If you wanna be the next Rihanna, Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt, Beyonce, or Ne-Yo you cant give up! They didn't. they embraced what made them special and that's what you have to do.
